This is a gift I got for Christmas (pic played with in Photoshop). They're Russian stacking dolls, otherwise known as matryoshkas and if you know me then you know I collect these. So it was quite a perfect gift to get me a blank set that I can design myself. I hadn't started on the project, with everything going on recently, I just didn't have the drive to do the work. But recently life found a way to start again. Which came largely in part due to a new job. Ironically, like these blank wooden dolls, I feel like I too have a blank slate. And if I take it one step at a time, one doll at a time, there's endless possibilities as to what it can be.
For the dolls: think Yellow Submarine. :)
