An attempt at a Family Portrait

Saturday, December 12, 2009

Randomly my sister asked me to take their Christmas photo. Well since it's family, I tried to have a little fun.

A Weekend With The Mountains

A family reunion in Estes Park Colorado, a good 40 family members from all over. But one night it was just me, a wooden adirondack chair, my iPod and the front porch of a log cabin in the mountains. First it was a storm that gave a double rainbow (we swore it actually touched the ground), then simply a sunset.

Beantown!

26th Anniversary = trip to Boston. My carry-on = SLR.

I Took A Walk...Around 80s Years.

It was October and I was bored. So I grabbed my camera and about 4 layers of clothing. And for the next 3 hours I walked around our neighborhood in Midtown KC. The average age of the neighborhood: 80 years.

KC's Top Model // I.e. first SLR experience

About 1 day after the purchase of my first SLR camera, my dear friend Layne invited me to come hang out at a model shoot and "learn" my camera. Turns out, some of my first photos didn't suck!
